Chef Evi was so amazing! I gave her an immense challenge and she really rose to the occasion. I wanted a twist on a regular meat and potatoes kind of meal using my hubby's favorite food- CHOCOLATE. She was nearly the only chef I found on here that would customize a menu like that, and seemed intrigued by the challenge. She served a strawberry summer salad with chocolate sourdough, and a cocoa rubbed filet mignon with truffle mashed potatoes and roasted brussel sprouts. It was all divine and never tasted too sweet or dessert like. We also changed the venue, and therefore her available cooking equipment, with only a few days notice. She really rolled with the punches and found a way to make it all work. This meal made my hubby's birthday one to remember!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We are a full service catering company, which means we have partnerships with multiple third party vendors and get some really amazing discounts with them as we have been working together for quite a while. We have a 20% tax/service/covid staffing fee that covers the sales tax, cleanup, staff and anything we purchase. Gratuity is not included with any of our proposals under 100 people as we prefer to leave it up to the client.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Chef Evi personally works through the menu and event details with all clients. We then send an initial proposal of service and await review. Once the proposal is signed, we require 50% deposit for the total. The remaining balance is due upon arrival and any additional request costs will be due at that time as well. After service, the gratuity is appreciated.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
Chef Evi has a background in the kitchen as her mother was a chef in New Orleans. She has been cooking since the age of 4.
